Seabourn Conversations, Featured Speaker

Angela Buckley is a crime historian and author. She writes about Victorian crime and police history. She has published four books, including the popular detective biography, "The Real Sherlock Holmes." Her new book, "The Bermondsey Murder," is due for publication in 2024.

Angela’s work has been featured in national magazines and newspapers, and she's appeared on radio and UK TV, including the BBC’s The One Show and Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, and Murderous History for the Smithsonian channel. She has taken part in many events, such as the Henley Literary Festival, the Manchester Histories Festival and the Museum of London. She is currently undertaking doctoral research in detective history at Oxford Brookes University, England.
