A comprehensive tour that combines sightseeing of Perth and Fremantle with wine tasting, lunch and a river cruise.
Admire the sleek, modern buildings and soaring skyscrapers as you drive through Perth. There will be a brief stop at Kings Park to photograph the spectacular view overlooking the city and Swan River.
Travelling through the eastern suburbs you will arrive at Swan Valley, a heritage area renowned for its historic houses and superb wineries. Visit one of these wineries, Sandalford Wines, for some wine tasting. You will be able to enjoy a talk on the wine making process along with the tasting, including fortified wine straight from the oak barrel. An Australian lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
On returning to Perth, board your riverboat for a leisurely cruise down the Swan River to Fremantle. Sit back and watch the passing scenery glide by as you listen to the live commentary.
Re-board your coach for a brief orientation of Fremantle. As you travel along the Esplanade see the quaint terraced houses, ornate historic buildings and sidewalk cafés. Drive past the old Round House at Arthur’s Head, an old twelve-sided jail, and the Maritime Museum, a grand cluster of stone buildings, before returning to the ship.
Please note: Minimum age is 18 years. Restrooms on riverboat are situated down a flight of steps. Riverboat is not wheelchair accessible. Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes.
