Board a speedboat at the pier and set out on an approximately 90-minute scenic cruise upstream on the Rio Negro.
You're headed to a community on the shores of Lake Acajatuba. Some years ago, two local girls began feeding the resident, and now very famous, pink dolphins from a floating pier. These beautiful cetaceans have since become very accustomed to having human visitors, and are extremely friendly. Today you'll have the opportunity to see and touch the dolphins as you stand on a submerged platform and your guide hand-feeds these amazing creatures.
After your dolphin encounter, check out the village lifestyle as you browse for local handicrafts before returning to the pier by boat.
Please note: Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Wildlife sightings are likely but not guaranteed.
