NORTHWEST PASSAGE CRUISES

To sail through the Northwest Passage is to accomplish something many people spent centuries searching and striving for. Since Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen first mapped the route after a 3 year expedition in 1906, sea ice prevented most ships from navigating this passage until approximately 2009. Built in 2022, our expedition ship, Seabourn Venture, is purpose-built to navigate these conditions, immersing you in the fascinating histories of famous expeditions like the Franklin Expedition that attempted this very passage long ago.

Glacier ice carved the rugged landscapes that sail by the private verandah of your oceanfront suite and sea ice provides a platform for marine mammals such as seals and polar bears. Embark on a voyage of contemplation and discovery, bringing home stories of your own from this remarkable, remote region.
