Take a tuk-tuk ride along magical Boka Bay -- the enormous inlet leading to Kotor that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Starting from Kotor's Old Town -- the self-proclaimed (and perhaps rightly so) Pearl of the Mediterranean -- enjoy the unforgettable scenery of the picturesque maritime villages that are strung like jewels on a necklace along the bay. Each is rather interesting in its own charming way.
You'll see the fishing village of Muo; then, further around the peninsula, other settlements with old stone houses and quaint churches. Watch for Our Lady's Temple -- the largest monument of its kind in this part of the Mediterranean.
At the Strait of Verige, Tivat and Kotor Bays meet, and this is where you'll spot the lovely islands of Baroque Perast across the bay.
Veering south along Tivat Bay's shoreline, you will discover Porto Montenegro -- a modern town with a luxury yacht marina visited by rich listers from all over the world. Although the village reads as typical Mediterranean style, it is relatively new.
Please note: The route is winding; guests who suffer from motion sickness should consider this before booking and/or take appropriate medication.
