Join your fellows on an expedition to the top of Skopos Hill, where the best views on Zakynthos are waiting. Follow a local guide up mountain paths on a 2.5-mile hike that ascends through the pristine landscape to the hill's highest point. From up top, take in views of Zakynthos Town and the Bay of Laganas that can't be experienced from any other spot on the island. Then, descend the slopes of Skopos Hill to the shores of Kalamaki Beach and enjoy a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters; or enjoy a nice walk along the beach if you prefer not to swim.. This isn't just a beautiful beach, it's also a National Marine Park where giant Loggerhead Sea Turtles nest and lay their eggs. Learn about the lives of these amazing creatures before driving back to the ship.
Please note: Wear suitable footwear. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing and bring a towel if you plan to swim. Guests must be able walk approximately 5 miles over mountainous terrain on an ascent and descent. Pregnant women and guests with cardiac or respiratory conditions, or other medical restrictions, should not participate.
