Meet your guide at the pier and set off on a walking tour through Vis town, learn about its history and about the oldest Greek colony on the Croatian coast -- Issa. Visit the ruins of the large thermae, or bathing complex, from the Roman period. Issa lost its independence to the Romans but still enjoyed social and economic growth.
Continue past the Perast Tower, Villa Tramontana, the Church of Our Lady of Spilica, and then the Austrian fortress Baterija Levaman.
Next, view Garibaldi's summer house, the first court in the town of Vis, and the Church of St Cyprian and Justine. Along the way, you will hear legends and see locations from the movie Mamma Mia II.
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Tour requires two hours of walking. Terrain includes stairs and uneven surfaces. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Tour does not include inside visits.
