A 75-minute scenic boat ride takes you to the small island of Bisevo, located about three miles from Vis. Here, you will find a network of caves only accessed from the sea. Around noontime each day, the sea is calm, and the sun's rays penetrate one of the caverns through an underwater opening, turning the waters a shimmering silver and the interior a stunning blue, thus giving it the name the Blue Cave.
Board a local boat to enter the Blue Cave through a small natural opening and experience the cave's unique beauty.
Cruise to the most famous beach on the Vis, Stiniva, for a short photo stop.
Continue to Podkop, a military tunnel once used to conceal Yugoslav Navy ships. Explore the tunnel and learn about the area's fascinating military history before cruising back to Vis.
Please note: Swimming is not permitted inside the Blue Cave. There will be no swimming time at Stiniva Beach. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Bring bottled water. Access to the Blue Cave is dependent on sea conditions and may be canceled. Expect a line to enter the Blue Cave during peak hours in the summer season. Guests prone to motion sickness should consider this before booking and/or take appropriate medication.
