Cycle from Rovinj along the coast toward the Old Town.
You'll enter Punta Corrente Forest Park -- an elegant tapestry of nature and history interwoven to form a trail that leads to Golden Cape. A glimpse of this area's Venetian past is evident at the Montauro Quarry.
Passing through Cuvi Bay, you will understand why it's a favorite for swimming.
Encounter the rich history of Rovinj as you cycle past the Roman Cistern, and keep an eye out for beautiful fauna in the Palud Ornithological Reserve. As many as 220 bird species have been observed here.
Take the same coastal route back to the pier, or head over Monkdonja Hill (with Bronze Age ruins) to Rovinjsko Selo and follow the defunct railroad right-of-way back to Rovinj.
Please note: Tour operates by mountain bike. Wear closed-toe shoes (mandatory). Helmets are provided and must be worn. The total distance covered is approximately 15 miles, mostly on unpaved roads. Participants must be able to cycle for approximately three hours, must be fit, and be in good condition. Minimum age is 16 years. Guests who are pregnant or have a back or neck condition are not allowed to participate.
