A 90-minute motorcoach ride brings you to the heart of Rome, where you will savor the iconic flavors of Italy on a 3.5-hour foodie walking tour.
Nibble and sample your way through the Prati District. Prati is a historical residential neighborhood bordering the Vatican State. It boasts a vibrant gastronomic scene with traditional food markets shops, boutique shopping and tree-lined boulevards.
Once you're on the food trail, your guide will educate and entertain you with insights into Rome's culture and gastronomy. Sink your teeth into suppli (fried risotto balls) or fresh mozzarella, taste the hottest food trend in Rome, and sip fine local wine and locally brewed beer. Sample a selection of cured meats and cheeses, and savor a freshly-roasted espresso accompanied by a buttery pastry. Top it all off with homemade artisan gelato.
On the Via Cola di Rienzo, Prati's main shopping street, stroll along wide sidewalks lined with fashionable boutiques. An authentic flower and fruit market peddles colorful blooms, and outdoor vendors offer quality handicrafts.
