Travel by coach to the heart of Cádiz. En route, keep an eye out for the Mudejar-style tobacco factory, built in 1741, which now serves as the regional Congress building. You'll also see, as you drive through the city, Santo Domingo Church, the old Royal Prison in Andalusian neo-Classical style, and the Roman theatre.
Pass the ancient Phoenician port of La Caleta, the botanic gardens, and the castle walls that once protected the town; then, leave the motorcoach at Plaza de España.
Start your walking tour to the Plaza de la Mina (once a monks' vegetable patch), and the outside of the Cádiz Museum. On Calle Ancha, there are beautiful 19th-century palaces and the cathedral, where you can step inside to view an eclectic transition from 13th-century Baroque style to neo-Classical.
Finish up at the Flamenco Place la Cava for a stylish demonstration of typical Spanish dance, together with some tapas and drinks.
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience.
