Embrace the scenic beauty of Zanzibar's East Coast during this relaxing half-day visit to Kiwengwa Beach and leave your footprints in the sands.
Depart from the pier for a scenic 60 -minute drive along the East Coast, past some villages, farms and local schools on to Kiwengwa Beach; one of Zanzibar's most beautiful beaches.
Upon arrival at the Resort, you will proceed to the Beach Club. After receiving a welcome drink, you can relax in the sun, explore the beach or participate in any of the resort's amenities (to be organised directly with reception at an extra cost) including kayaking, boating, snorkeling, volleyball, and soccer. Sun beds and umbrellas will also be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
You will also enjoy Buffet Lunch from the main restaurant as well all drinks on Resort’s all inclusive package.
Following your visit, you will re-board your bus for the 60 -minute return drive to the pier.
Please note:
The drive from the pier to the resort is approximately 45 minutes in each direction. Guests are encouraged to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up, water shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, and bring a towel from the ship. Optional activities are at the guests' own expense and payable directly to the resort.. The resort reserves most of its sunbeds for its inhouse guests. We do organize for a few sun beds. Guests can freely enjoy the pool and other facilities at the resort. The resort has a boutique where guests may purchase local souvenirs. Free wifi is available throughout most of the resort areas. Note, walking along the beach may be uneven and we recommend light waterproof footwear. Children under 12 years must accompanied by an adult. The order of sights visited may vary.
