Indulge in a visit to the most famous of Iceland's geothermal spas -- the Blue Lagoon. Relax in a luxuriant bath of geothermally heated water, renowned for its positive effects on the skin. Bathing at this spa promotes harmony between your body, mind and spirit, and will enable you to soak away the stresses of modern life. Rekindle your relationship with nature, drink in the scenic beauty, and enjoy the basic pleasure of just breathing the clean, fresh air.
You will have access to a sauna with a view out to the lagoon, as well as a soothing steam bath carved into a lava cave. If you wish, take advantage of the abundance of famous white silica mud -- a fundamental component of the ultimate spa experience.
Please note: Minimum age is 2 years. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair. Suitable for guests with mobility limitations with a companion to assist. Bring your swimsuit (towels provided). Guests must shower without swimwear prior to entering the lagoon, in accordance with local custom. Separate European-style changing rooms (not private) are available for men and women. The water's minerals may stain some jewelry. Long hair must be secured up. Hair that comes in contact with the mineral-rich water becomes coarse and dry, normalizing after a few shampoo/conditioner washes. Minimum age to drink alcohol is 21 years.
