Enjoy the sights and sounds of Halifax with a city tour aboard a brightly-painted, vintage double-decker bus.
See the historic and revitalized downtown core of this diverse and cosmopolitan city, with stunning waterfront views. Hear stories of some major events in Halifax's history, from the sinking of the Titanic to the massive Halifax Explosion that literally rocked the city to its core.
Hop off and on the bus at a variety of stops, such as the Halifax Citadel, the Public Gardens, the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Province House, and great shopping destinations such as Historic Properties and Spring Garden Road. At the Titanic Cemetery, the tranquil setting is enhanced by the presence of a local guide who will inform, enlighten, and engage you with the stories behind the headstones.
The 90-minute circuit begins at the cruise terminal. Board the bus and enjoy the ride until you reach a part of the city you would like to explore. Hop off (and back on) as many times as you wish.
A brochure provides a detailed map to help you plan your day with ease and accuracy.
Please note: The hop-on, hop-off bus is not exclusive to Seabourn guests. The length of the hop-on-hop-off route averages 90 minutes without traffic delays and without stepping off at any stops. You are responsible for keeping track of the time throughout the day and allowing sufficient time to return to the ship. The operator is not responsible for delays beyond its control, such as traffic or detours. Due to the nature of this tour, there will be no refunds. Entrance fees to attractions along the route are not included. The vintage buses utilized cannot accommodate scooters, wheelchairs, or other mobility devices.
