Begin your adventure with a transfer from the quayside to the helipad at Mossel Bay Helicopters Hartenbos Site, where you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing drink. After checking in for your flight and completing the necessary safety briefing, board your helicopter.
During your exhilarating 25-minute flight, take in breathtaking coastal views as you soar over Hartenbos and Mossel Bay. Keep your eyes peeled for marine wildlife, including whales, dolphins, and great white sharks. As you continue, fly over the vast expanse of Bergsig Game Farm, spanning 4,000 hectares of pristine wilderness and diverse plant life. Look out for iconic African animals such as giraffes, rhinos, Cape buffalos, hippos, and various antelope species.
Your next stop is truly unique: land within the African lion enclosure. From the safety of the helicopter, observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Cameras ready!
After this unforgettable lion encounter, take off again and head to a secluded picnic spot, exclusively set up for you. Enjoy a delicious picnic surrounded by nature’s beauty.
Finally, your helicopter will collect you once more, whisking you back to the helipad at Bergsig Game Farm. From there, your waiting vehicle will transfer you comfortably back to the pier. Prepare for an adventure of a lifetime
Cancellation Policy:
14 Days prior to arrival in the excursion port. This excursion is non-refundable within 14 days of arrival into the excursion port. Any cancellations made after this deadline will be subject to full payment of the tour. This will include if a guest cancels their voyage within 14 days of arrival into the excursion port.
Important notes:
The aircraft operators will decide if weather conditions are suitable for flightseeing. If the flight is canceled due to weather conditions, a full refund will be made. Due to aircraft weight and balance considerations, we require guests’ weights, dietary requirements, and names at least 192 hours prior to arrival. Individual passenger weights must not exceed 260 lbs. each. The FAA mandates that all guests be weighed during check-in. It is recommended that guests dress in casual clothing, light jacket and wear flat, comfortable shoes. It is also recommended to carry a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock. This activity involves walking on uneven surfaces. This tour is not recommended for guests in wheelchairs or with limited mobility. If you're prone to motion sickness, don't forget to take necessary precautions before boarding the helicopter. There is a portable toilet available at the landing site to ensure your comfort. There will be 3 people per helicopter flight.
