What better way to experience the wildlife and wines that South Africa are so famous for with a 2 hour game drive at Nyosi Wildlife Reserve followed by a delectable wine tasting from the region.
Whether you wish to escape and relax, or to explore and reconnect with nature, Nyosi Wildlife Reserve caters for both. Nyosi Wildlife Reserve is situated in the heart of the serene 2500 hectare reserve just 30 minutes from Gqeberha’s golden beaches. The wildlife roams freely and they are dedicated to ensuring an ecological balance between fauna and flora in the region.
Upon arrival you are welcomed with tea or coffee whilst signing your indemnity forms, after which you will don your 4x4 for a 2 hour game drive. On the game drive you will have a chance to spot elephant, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, mountain zebra, jackal, buck and variety of predator birds.
After your exciting game drive you will stop and enjoy a wine tasting, from the grapes that are grown in the surrounding vineyards. The tasting wines are subject to seasonal produce so will constantly change yearly depending on the harvest from the previous year.
After your adventures you will board your coach for a transfer back to the pier.
Please note:
Not suitable for guests using a wheelchair or those with mobility limitations as getting into and out of the game vehicles can present a significant challenge. During the day, temperatures can get extremely hot. The game drive vehicle may not be covered. Wear comfortable walking shoes and breathable clothing; bring sunscreen, a sun hat and binoculars. Ride will be bumpy. Guests with back or neck problems are not allowed to participate. The roads in the game reserve are gravel; there are also inclines and certain parts of the game drive can be bumpy. Minimum age is 6 years. Participants are not permitted to use cellular phones during the game drives or to speak loudly or stand up on the game drive vehicles, as this will disturb the animals. Smoking is not permitted. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Pumba Private Game Reserve’s curio shop does not accept foreign currency; you must have South African Rands to make a purchase.
