If you’re looking for a transformative experience, you’ve found it in this incredible tour of Tortola, complete with time to swim and relax on the beach.
To start the day, climb aboard an open-air safari bus in the West End of Soper’s Hole. As you drive along, you’ll have panoramic views of beautiful Road Town, revealing the busy capital of the island.
Then you’ll ascend Fort Hill via the Ridge Road, passing the local village of Long Trench, with its colorful wall mural depicting historical scenes of everyday life in the islands.
Along the way, you’ll stop at several vantage points for photos and short narration by your driver-guide. The views toward Anegada, the U.S. Virgin Islands and many of the fifty British Virgin Islands make for memorable stops on the route.
As you descend to beautiful Cane Garden Bay, stop to swim and relax on a beach chair on this spectacular white-sand beach. A bar and restaurant are available here for refreshments. Follow the north shore and Zion Hill back to Soper’s Hole.
Please note: Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, a cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Beach chairs, umbrellas and refreshments are available for purchase.
