Feel the wind in your hair, breathe fresh salt air and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin as you journey by by glass-bottom boat into the UNESCO World Heritage Site environment of the Amami Oshima Islands. This is a pristine and captivating escape complete with white sand, colorful fish, and lush landscapes perfectly visible from the boat.
Depart the pier and take a scenic 75-minute drive to Setouchi Sea Station, where you will embark the boat for the cruise. See an abundance of thriving coral reefs, primeval forests on the island, and teeming fish all around the boat.
Back on land, you'll visit the Mt Yui Observatory for a beautiful view of the sea, Isu Bay and the Oshima Strait between Amami Oshima and Kakeromajima. The surrounding landscape includes lush mountains, serene coastlines, and the sparkling Pacific Ocean.
