Leave the pier for a panoramic drive to the Harman family ranch of Quinta Paraíso Alto -- a riding center situated about 7½ miles from civilization on the coast at Lagos.
Upon arrival, you will listen to a briefing before heading out on a one-hour horseback ride through the stunning countryside. You'll see eucalyptus woods, orange groves and fig and cork trees. With luck, there is also a chance you might spot a wild boar or mongoose in addition to a wide range of bird species. After your horseback ride, relax and enjoy a light snack and a refreshment poolside at the ranch.
Please note: If you have never ridden a horse before, please advise the Destinations Manager on board the ship and a 30-minute instruction period will be arranged prior to the ride. The riding groups will be split into groups of six guests. Tour operates weather permitting. Wear casual clothing, long pants and closed-toe shoes. Maximum weight is 220 lbs.
