Here's a relaxing way to enjoy one of the most peaceful settings in Tenerife -- the famous Orchid Gardens of Sitio Litre. Your tour begins with a scenic drive, heading towards the north of the island and through the Oratava Valley.
Stop for photos at the Humboldt Viewpoint, which offers lovely views stretching from Mount Teide to the coast of Puerto de la Cruz.
You'll then continue to the highlight of your tour -- the gardens. Sitio Litre is a part of the essential history of Puerto de la Cruz -- in fact Agatha Christie and Alexander Von Humbold are among some of the facility's most distinguished visitors. You will be welcomed and guided through the gardens so you can marvel at the colorful, showy blooms on display.
Afterwards, relax at the Orchid Garden's tranquil café where you'll be offered some local refreshments before the drive back to the port.
