Discover the beauty and splendor of historic Trsat Castle. A guided walking tour leads you through this 13th-century fortress and takes in the serene public spaces where the locals come to relax. Trsat Castle was restored in 1824 by Count Laval Nugent, who renovated it in a traditional neo-Classical Biedermeier architectural design.
Continue to Rijeka and set off on a guided walk to explore its European architecture. You'll spot the old city gates erected in Roman times, the city's clocktower, a series of ornate churches, and the delightful Korso -- Rijeka's main pedestrian street.
Enjoy approximately 45 minutes of free time to explore on your own or browse among the eclectic mix of shops and galleries of the Korso before returning to the pier.
