Go beyond the ordinary with a trip to the Argyle Waterfall, nestled in the lush rain forests of Tobago. Here you’ll smell the verdant natural landscape, hear the birds in the air and see waterfalls that few will ever set eyes on. Take photos and hike through the landscape with an expert guide who will explain your tour every step of the way. You’ll be left amazed by this stunning natural wonder and its breathtaking views.
You’ll start your day with a panoramic drive that takes you along Tobago's windward coast to Roxborough. You can snap photos of forest greenery and rolling hills; a true serene escape into nature. This is the perfect precursor for your day ahead.
When you arrive on the Argyle Waterfalls Trail, you will turn off the Main Ridge Road and enter the oldest forest reserve in the western hemisphere. Within the rain forest, follow your naturalist guide on a 20-minute hike (each way) through lush tropical vegetation brimming with wildlife.
Next up is the three-tiered Argyle Waterfall. You’ll be amazed by the blue-green waters, sounds of waterfalls crashing around you, in addition to streams trickling on all sides. Enjoy a swim in the natural pool or simply take in the tranquility of the reserve.
After your rain forest and waterfall adventure, return to Charlotteville and re-board the ship.
Please Note: Wear your swimsuit under your clothing. Bring a towel, sunscreen, and a hat.
