From sampling authentic ales at Quidi Vidi Brewery to experiencing the rich tradition of port wine-tasting in the historic Newman's Wine Vaults, there's plenty to savor and discover on this excursion.
Visiting Quidi Vidi Brewery offers not only a chance to enjoy delicious craft brews but also a glimpse into the daily lives of the resilient fishing community along the North Atlantic. It's a reminder of the region's deep connection to the sea and its bounty.
Descending into the old Newman's Wine Vaults for a port wine-tasting is like stepping back in time, immersing oneself in centuries-old traditions. It's a testament to the enduring legacy of craftsmanship and appreciation for fine beverages in the area.
And of course, no tour would be complete without a visit to Wooden Wall Distilling, where guests can witness the artistry behind the creation of premium spirits. Ending the tour with a sampling of their finest brews is the perfect way to conclude a day of exploration and indulgence.
Please note: The minimum age requirement of 19 years for participants, ensuring that everyone can fully enjoy the experience. And while the tour sequence may vary, each stop promises its own unique blend of history, culture, and culinary delights. Plus, traveling by local school bus adds a touch of authenticity to the adventure, allowing visitors to soak in the scenic beauty of the region along the way. This excursion is not wheelchair accessible. Due to regulations, passengers are restricted from taking mobility equipment on school buses due to it being a safety issue. Equipment impedes the aisles, blocks other passengers in their seats and in the event of an accident this equipment can cause great harm if not secured. Guests can leave a scooter or other mobility device pier side and we will do our best to watch it, but passengers leave this behind at their own risk. We cannot be responsible if something occurs to it while left pier side. Guests should take any keys with them.
