Transfer to the Oyster Shed on Wray Street on the banks of the Clyde River. Here, you will learn about the local cultivation techniques and the science behind farming oysters. You will also enjoy a taste of two fresh, natural oysters.
Climb into a kayak and paddle out to the oyster farm on the Clyde River. See for yourself how the shellfish are grown and harvested. You will paddle between racks of live oysters, and past the packing sheds.
Return to the Oyster Shed and transfer back to the ship's tender point the heart of Bateman's Bay.
Please note: Minimum age is 4 years. Tour does not operate on holidays. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water.
