Head to a local school to interact directly with the students. This will give you a taste of what a day in the life of a Japanese school looks like. Engage in conversation with the local children, learn about topics such as tsunamis and gain insights into the benefits of local tourism. Through this meaningful exchange, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the local culture and lifestyle.
Jodogahama Beach is a National Scenic Reserve, so designated in 2012. Its sharply contrasting landscape encompasses white sand and sharp rhyolite rocks. Green pine trees perfectly offset the blue ocean. No wonder the Buddhists call it the Pure Land! Take some time to stroll the beach.
Make the most of your free time at Miyako Fish Market -- the kitchen of Miyako -- to appreciate the fresh-caught seasonal seafood sold here along with colorful, crispy vegetables.
Please note:
Wear comfortable shoes. You must remove your shoes at one or more location(s). The students at the local school may have limited English proficiency. The coach cannot accommodate scooters. Not advisable for guests with mobility limitations. Please bring local currency (Japanese yen) for additional purchases. Tour order may vary.
