Become acquainted with the essential highlights of Bangkok on this comprehensive day of sightseeing. From the pier, board an air-conditioned motorcoach and head to Bangkok.
Upon arrival, visit the Grand Palace -- one of the most beautiful examples of an ancient Siamese Court. Here, you will see the most sacred Emerald Buddha. The palace -- the former residence of the Kings of Thailand -- is now reserved for royal ceremonies and state occasions. After lunch at a first-class hotel, step aboard a boat for a trip along the Chao Phraya River and the klongs (canals) to enjoy picturesque scenes of typical Thai canal life. You will see houses built on stilts and the royal barge dockyard. Pause for photos at the iconic Temple of Dawn.
At the conclusion of the boat trip, board a motorcoach for a return journey to the pier in Laem Chabang.
