Depart by bus for a short transfer to start your scenic hike through Nuuk's backcountry around the picturesque Fresh Water Lake. While navigating the trail, you'll encounter a few boulders to maneuver around on one side, but the other side offers a clear path with gently sloping terrain.
At the conclusion of the hike, we'll pause by a charming small waterfall. Guests are invited to sip the pure, refreshing water. Throughout the journey, our guide will share insights about the diverse flora and fauna found in this serene natural environment, enriching your experience with knowledge about the local ecosystem.
Please note: Please bring your spirit of adventure and bear with any language difficulties your guide may encounter and with any operational surprises that may crop up. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress in layers. Bring insect repellent; wear sunscreen. Hike's duration can vary a little on group pace but also weather conditions. If there's snow or it's been raining a lot the tour can vary +/- 30 min. Wherever Included Experience tours are offered, guests are allowed to participate in only one included experience per call unless otherwise specified in the tour description. Total distance is approximately 2.5 miles (4 km) with approximately 656 feet of elevation gain (200 meters) and approximate steepest inclination at 10%. Please be sure to book your included experience in advance as space may be limited on your specific choice.
