During this captivating wilderness waterfront kayak and rainforest adventure, expert guides point out notable landmarks and highlight the diverse Prince Rupert flora and fauna.
Hop into a kayak and set off for 75 minutes of peaceful paddling. At picturesque Seal Cove, take a break to stretch your legs and explore the enchanting Salt Marsh Trail. Savor a rejuvenating coffee or snack at the charming Yaga Café (at your own expense), nestled amid this coastal paradise.
Stroll along the shoreline if you wish. With majestic coastline on one side and the enchanting Great Bear Rainforest on the other, it's easy to savor the tranquility and appreciate the natural wonders all around you.
Afterward, venture to the adjacent docks for a glimpse of bald eagles in their natural habitat. Make your way back to the ship at your own pace, relishing the freedom to linger in downtown Prince Rupert if you wish.
Notes: Participants must be reasonably fit and able to paddle for 75 minutes. A degree of flexibility and balance are required to get into and out of the kayak from the dock. Kayaks have skegs (not rudders). Maximum weight is 250 lbs. Minimum age is 14 years. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, steep inclines, sand, gravel and steps. Lunch is not included. You will be able to purchase fish and chips (at your own expense) at the end of the tour. Wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet.
