Luxury makes a difference, and your time on this wonderful adventure is carefully curated to ensure that you and a small handful of equally privileged guests experience the best of Juneau and the Inside Passage.
Meet your driver shipside and relax as a Mercedes Sprinter van takes you to Auke Bay, just 25 minutes from Juneau. Here, your skipper welcomes you aboard the only luxury whale-watching day yacht in Alaska for a captivating glimpse into the dynamic beauty of the Alaskan wilderness.
Then, set off for a morning or afternoon on the waters surrounding Juneau -- perhaps the best place in the entire world to observe humpback whales in the summertime. Keep an eye out for other wildlife, too, such as orca whales, bald eagles, harbor seals, Steller sea lions, and even the occasional brown or black bear.
Along the way, pristine waters frame a breathtaking panorama of glaciers, snow-capped mountains, and rugged coastal beauty, creating a nautical adventure amid the untamed wilderness of the Last Frontier.
En route back to the ship, stop to take photos of world-famous Mendenhall Glacier (weather permitting) -- a majestic testament to the forces of nature with its towering ice walls, brilliant blue crevasses, and surrounding landscapes of lush greenery.
Please note: The yacht accommodates a total of eight guests. The operator of this tour guarantees that a whale will be sighted on this excursion in June, July and August, with participants receiving a $100 cash refund from the tour operator after the tour if a whale is not sighted. In all other months, no guarantee is offered; however, a whale sighting remains highly likely. Dress warmly in layered clothing with gloves, a scarf, and a hat; outer layer should be windproof and waterproof.
