Visit this remarkable historical site located in the Southwest of England. Forde Abbey dates back almost 900 years and is now the home of the Roper family. You can explore the estate including the 30 acres of beautifully maintained gardens which also feature some of the oldest trees in the UK. Forde Abbey is also home to the highest-powered fountain in the country. This is a technical marvel which really is a sight to behold with the fountain spray forming a rainbow near the top end. This serene environment is a perfect haven for local wildlife and hopefully you will be lucky to see some during your visit.
