A fascinating combination of exercising and admiring the volcanic coastline, while paddling along the beautiful small bays and sea caves with mesmerizing green-blue waters, and sandy beaches ideal for refreshing swimming.
The tour starts at Mandrakia the picturesque fishermen’s harbor with the characteristic boathouses on the seafront. Your group will pass by Sarakiniko with its white lunar like landscape and will stop at a shipwreck for snorkeling.
Then to the amazing with no access otherwise almost white sandy beach of Gerakas. There are small caves to be explored, hot waters, bubbles emerging from seabed due to geothermal activities; on top of Gerakas at Kalamos hill lies the inactive oldest volcano of Milos. Because of high temperatures in great depths fumaroles are created emitting visible gases to the surface with the smell of sulphur.
Paddling will not be non-stop but there will be breaks for swimming, taking photos, having a snack and water.
A memorable over and under seas experience. A traditional local snack will be served ashore.
Please note: If weather conditions are harsh on the south side, the tour will deviate to the north side of the island with the following itinerary:
