In Sirince village, experience the perfect synthesis of Turkish and Greek cultures, and world-famous Turkish hospitality.
Stroll through the streets where the houses are kept in Greek style on the outside, while the interiors are distinctly Turkish. There's time to shop for handicrafts and souvenirs if you wish.
Free time is allocated for a church visit, which is optional and done independently,
Lunch is served at a Turkish home -- a chance to taste the cuisine, embrace the domestic culture of the village, and interact with your host(s). Your meal ends with a cup of delicious, industrial-strength Turkish coffee.
Because this excursion is truly a slice of village life, a fortune-teller will stop by to read your coffee cup!
At the end of the day, you will have time for a carpet demonstration and shopping in Kusadasi, or head directly back to the ship.
Please note: Shade is limited; please dress accordingly. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water. The church visit requires uphill walking. There may be steps to reach the dining area at the Turkish home.
