Welcome to the island of Ibiza.Ibiza's aloe vera plantation is the perfect place to discover the many benefits of aloe vera. This wonder-plant is used as both an ingestible herbal medicine and a potent topical agent. During your visit, you will explore among 20,000 plants.
At the arboretum, see the vast majority of existing aloes types, as well as plants and trees typical of Ibiza. A delightful aromatic section features plants used in creams and lotions -- lemon trees, fig trees, algarroberos and others.
You'll also visit the Museum of Aloe Vera, where the history and uses of this wonderful plant are explained. This facility focuses on the history of man's interaction with the plant and its many uses. An aloe specialist answers all your questions and will give you a sample. (S)he will show you how to cut an aloe leaf and directly apply the juice to your skin for a cure-all remedy that has stood the test of time.
Some workshop fun gives you a chance to try your hand at making aloe soap.
You will have some free time in San Antonio during the tour.
