From the port of Hendaye, it’s just a 30-minute ride to San Sebastian -- the city that the Kings and Queens of Spain chose as their royal beach resort.
Today, San Sebastian remains a brilliant and seductive city and is the cultural hub of the Basque region. You’ll stop at Monte Igueldo for a panoramic view of San Sebastian Bay and a chance to snap some photos. Then, head into the city and visit the Old Town. Here, in the narrow pedestrian-only streets, you’ll walk past numerous famous tapas bars, shops and landmarks.
You’ll have some free time to experience the atmosphere and taste some tapas with Spanish wines or local cider (at your own expense)
