Set off on a once-in-a-lifetime aquatic adventure swimming and snorkeling around Norman Island. This captivating experience takes place among crystal-clear waters that envelop vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life, offering you a chance to see underwater caves and swim alongside tropical fish in the warm embrace of the Caribbean Sea.
Today’s journey starts with a ride on a twin-engine snorkel launch, where you’ll enjoy a scenic 30-minute ride across Sir Francis Drake Channel. This is a maritime adventure that unfolds amidst a panorama of azure waters dotted with lush islands. Your destination is one of the British Virgin Islands’ prime snorkel sites.
An experienced snorkel instructor leads you to the legendary, uninhabited Norman Island, immortalized in Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous book, Treasure Island, or to the Indian rock formations. Snorkel in pristine surroundings; then head to a second site for more swimming and snorkeling in shallower water.
Please note: Minimum age is 5 years. Maximum weight is 200 lbs. Specific snorkel locations are dependent upon sea and weather conditions. Masks, snorkels and snorkel vests are provided, with instruction for novices. You will have approximately 1.5 hours to snorkel. Water is available on board. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, a cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat.
