En route to Hoi An, you will drive through Da Nang and past the famous My Khe Beach, where towering marble cliffs frame a landscape of pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters.
Pause at Tra Que Vegetable Village -- a charming village on the edge of Hoi An named for the sweet vegetables that spice up the everyday meals of the Vietnamese people. Follow your guide on an informative walk through the herb gardens to learn about herbal remedies in a farm-to-market vibe. A visit to a local vegetable market closes the loop.
Among the many live food counters at Ms Vy's -- a first-of-its-kind interactive dining venue -- you'll see, smell, hear, taste, touch and interact with many different food preparation processes. Try samples from ten different food counters, including banh mi, dumplings, pickles, exotic and wonderful foods, Vietnam's rationing foods (in place for 45 years), and some sweet treats.
Now it's your turn: you'll participate in a two-hour cooking workshop among the street food counters, getting into the heart of the action as you cut noodles, make rice paper and wontons, use the bun noodle machine, and more. Your tutors demonstrate each dish; then, you'll prepare it yourself. After the lesson, sit down to eat what you've cooked .
