Day 1 - Arrive in Capetown: Air Travel Details - Welcome to an enchanting escape nestled in the lush Franschhoek Valley. As you touch down at Cape Town International Airport, our team will greet you just beyond the Customs and Immigration area. A comfortable transfer will whisk you away to your urban retreat for the night, with an estimated journey of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Lunch arrangements are independent, offering you the flexibility to explore local flavors.

Check-in at the hotel is scheduled for 2:00 PM. While we strive to accommodate early arrivals, room availability prior to this time cannot be assured. Should you wish to secure immediate access to your room upon early arrival, we recommend reserving an additional night.

We advise guests to arrange their dining reservations upon arrival.

Day 2: Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a captivating Winelands Tour. Your first destination is the historic Paarl region, where you’ll savor the art of winemaking with a tasting session at a renowned local vineyard.

The journey continues through the scenic route to Boschendal Wine Estate, with a leisurely interlude at the picturesque Babylonstoren. Here, time stands still, allowing you to immerse yourself in the serene surroundings.

Upon arrival at Boschendal Wine Estate, indulge in an idyllic picnic lunch amidst the estate’s beauty, complemented by a curated wine tasting experience.

As the day unfolds, you’ll return to La Residence, taking a moment to visit the charming town of Franschhoek—one of South Africa’s oldest settlements. Take this opportunity to wander through its quaint streets and discover its unique allure.

Here, you’ll delve into the storied past and intricate craft of winemaking, while treating your palate to a complimentary tasting of the finest local varietals—from the vibrant Sauvignon Blancs to the full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignons.

Lunch promises a culinary adventure at a celebrated restaurant amidst the vineyards, where the essence of South African gastronomy is brought to life with farm-fresh ingredients. Day 4: Post-breakfast at your hotel, and once the check-out procedures are complete, you’ll be treated to a wine tasting experience at a local vineyard nestled in the picturesque surroundings on your way to the harbor.

Upon reaching the quayside, you’ll embark on the next leg of your journey aboard the awaiting ship at Cape Town Harbour, ready to set sail on a memorable voyage.

Day 4 - Following a nourishing breakfast at your hotel and the completion of check-out formalities, a transfer to the airport will be arranged in accordance with your scheduled flight departure. For those with later flights, the hotel offers luggage storage services. The official check-out time is 11:00 PM. If your flight is scheduled late into the evening, you have the option to extend your stay by booking an additional night, ensuring comfort and convenience until your departure.
