The Swan River ribbons its way into the Swan Valley, the oldest wine region in Western Australia, a fertile farming region with a rich history of viticulture. There are more than 40 wineries in the area, and Chenin Blanc and Grenache are touted to be the region’s greatest varieties.
Your first stop is Upper Reach Winery, step inside the cellar door and engage in a wine tasting. Continue your travels to Sandalford Caversham Estate, one of Western Australia’s largest privately owned and most sustainable wineries. Producing 90,000 cases per year under a variety of labels, it has a tasting room in the cellar and affords an opportunity to view historic winemaking techniques and tools.
Relax on your picturesque ride back to port.
Please Note: Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair. Minimum age to consume alcohol is 18 years. To participate in the wine tasting portion of this tour you must be of legal age and accompanied by an adult age 21 or older. Tour does not operate on holidays.
