Take part in a fantastic fjord tour that ends with a hike to some level of Brosmetinden (528m.). It is an easy-to-walk peak with a fantastic view of Kvaløya and the Arctic Sea.
The path leads up through easy terrain toward the south ridge. From here you have a fantastic view of the sea, Sessøya and Skamtinden. The trail is mostly dry but can be wet at times. At the top there are a number of cairns and a beautiful view of the peaks in the area, such as the Storstolpan.
There are different levels, so there is no need to reach the top. The view is amazing all the time. The altitude is 200 meters at the starting point. The tour is suitable for all ages and has many stops along the way, all with a nice view of the Arctic Sea.
On this trip, you’ll also see parts of the alpine landscape on the adventure island of Senja. Depending on the season, you’ll be able to see reindeer grazing in the area, the popular cloud berry and eagles migrating over the peaks. There is a good reason to say that this tour is one of the finest walking tours here in Tromsø. You’ll always have the arctic sea next to you and you’ll be able to see the mountain plunging straight into the sea.
On the way back, you’ll drive to the Arctic Sea beach for a short break in Grøtfjord village.
Please note It is recommended to dress in layered clothing and wear comfortable hiking shoes. Guests must be in good physical condition. Wheelchairs cannot be accommodated on this tour. Minimum age is 8 years. A comfort stop is available at Grøtfjord village.
