Setting out from the colorful little town of Tobermory, you'll skirt the island's east coast for sweeping views across the Sound of Mull to the Morvern Peninsula. Mull is famous for its rugged beauty and unspoiled landscapes.
Duart Castle, perched on a rocky promontory known as Dubh Ard (meaning black point), dominates the surrounding area. Proudly guarding the island, it overlooks the sea from its dramatic position. The castle is full of history and stories of the clans who have held it -- your guide has all the answers. Discover the dark and dismal dungeons before climbing the ancient, worn steps to the battlements. Take in the views as far as Ben Nevis in the north and the Isle of Jura in the south.
Departing Duart Castle, you'll return to the ship at Tobermory via the same coastal route.
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes.
