Explore the full beauty of Aruba on a tour that takes you around the island and under the sea.
Start your adventure with an an air-conditioned bus ride to the pier where you’ll board a transfer boat for a scenic cruise across azure waters. Your destination is the Seaworld Explorer, a state-of-the-art semi-submarine, originally developed in Australia for use around the Great Barrier Reef.
This vessel does not fully submerge; rather you descend into the hull of the vessel and sit in air-conditioned comfort five feet below the surface of the water. View amazing sea life in this cruising underwater observatory through large, clear glass windows. The Seaworld Explorer takes you to the wreck of the Antilla, a 440-foot German freighter destroyed by an explosion that tore the freighter in two during World War II. Take in these incredible surroundings as your skillful captain maneuvers the semi-submarine through the heart of the Caribbean's largest shipwreck.
Return to shore, and your guide drives you to the California Lighthouse, where you can admire the magnificent view of the crashing waves of the windward coast and the tranquil waters of the leeward shore.
From here, continue to the awesome Casibari Rock Formations and climb the rock gardens to the top of the highest boulder. You will then visit the Natural Bridge – a bridge of rock formed by the wind and sea. Finally, keep an eye out for the gold mill ruins at Boca Mahos en route back to Oranjestad, Aruba's capital.
Please note: Guests must be able to navigate 10 steps in and out of the Seaworld Explorer.
