Take in the best of Boston and the surrounding area as this tour encompasses the highlights of the city, a visit to Harvard Yard, and the historic battlefields of Lexington and Concord.
Set out with a panoramic drive across the Charles River to Cambridge -- home of the prestigious Harvard University. Leave the coach here for a short walk through Harvard Yard before continuing to the outskirts of Boston and the historic battlefields of Lexington and Concord.
You'll stop at Lexington Green, where Paul Revere rode on his midnight ride to warn the Minutemen that the British were coming.
Continuing to Concord and the Old North Bridge, you will see where the Minutemen confronted the British, and the first full battle of the Revolution began as "the shot heard 'round the world" was fired.
Head back to Boston for a drive past the city's most important highlights. Watch for Copley Square, Trinity Church, the Boston Public Library, Newbury Street, the Public Garden, Boston Common, Beacon Hill and the Massachusetts State House.
Lunch is served at the atmospheric Union Oyster House -- America's oldest continuously-operating restaurant.
Visit the Old North Church, where Paul Revere ordered two lanterns hung in the steeple to signal that the Redcoats were on the move and arriving by sea.
Please note: Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Dress in layers. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
