Standing proud as one of the world’s largest sand islands, Moreton Island is a pristine natural wonderland just waiting to be explored. Taking in nature, history and amazing views, this tour is one of the best ways to get a complete Moreton Island experience.
You will depart from Tangalooma Island Resort and head along the western beaches on the bay side of the island, passing through townships of Cowan Cowan and Bulwer before arriving at North point. Here you can enjoy a break for a light meal and a glass of sparkling wine.
Continue to Honeymoon Bay and Champagne Pools and discover the incredible beauty of this pristine bay, it’s like something out of a movie. Next up is a bit of history with a visit to Cape Moreton Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in Queensland.
Afterwards, the tour will head down the surf side of Moreton Island – a 37km long pristine beach on the island’s eastern side. It has to be seen to be believed!
