Discover Manila, the Philippines' capital city, beginning with a stroll through lush Rizal Park. This sprawling greenspace is named for a hero of the Philippine Revolution.
In the walled Old City of Intramuros, a walking tour takes you to 16th-century Fort Santiago. Now crumbling into ruins, the fort served as the headquarters of the military might of Spanish, American and Japanese colonists until its partial destruction in 1945.
Manila Cathedral is a magnificent architectural feat with intricate stone carvings, stained-glass mosaics and rosette windows.
Explore Casa Manila -- a reconstructed 19th-century mansion, complete with 16th- to 19th-century furniture and furnishings.
You'll walk across the street to San Augustin Church (1571), the oldest intact structure in the Philippines.
The trip takes you under the Quiapo Bridge where a veritable treasure of authentic local handicraft products is found in the form of a market before going to the Airport.
Your tour ends with a transfer to the airport in Manila.
