Follow the serene beauty of a beautifully maintained, approximately two-mile round-trip path winding through towering old-growth trees. Your knowledgeable guide will point out the majestic giant cedar, hemlock, and spruce, enriching your experience with insights into the local ecosystem.
At the trail's end, you'll find a lovely picnic area overlooking the bay, where you may even spot some marine life.
After your hike, unwind at a cozy local pub favored by residents. Savor samples of Alaskan beer or a glass of wine as you snack, enjoy views of the bustling boat harbor, and watch the maritime activity.
Please note: Terrain includes a mostly-flat, gravel trail with one incline and is accessible for most people. Minimum age is 7 years. Group size is limited to 12 hikers per guide. Participants must be in good health and able to independently navigate terrain over two miles. Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes. Dress warmly in layered clothing with gloves, a scarf, and a hat; outer layer should be windproof and waterproof. Tour operates rain or shine but may be canceled by the operator in the event of extremely bad weather or unsuitable conditions.
