Enhance your Alaskan adventure by boosting your pedal power with an e-Bike. Get off the beaten track and discover natural Alaska on an exhilarating 3-hour active adventure for any fitness level. Enjoy getting away from the crowds, breathtaking views of the Mendenhall Glacier, a beautiful shoreline, an old growth forest, and a short walk through the world’s most northern rainforest.
From the dock, a scenic 20-minute van ride will transport you to Fish Creek Park on North Douglas Island, where you will receive an e-Bike, safety equipment, individual training and have time to practice shifting gears and using the pedal assist until you are ready.
Once comfortable and confident, a guide will lead you single-file along the shoreline of North Douglas Island on a paved dedicated bike lane taking in fresh ocean breezes and stunning views.
A few stops will be made at planned intervals including the most spectacular view of Mendenhall Glacier, a waterfall, an old growth forest and a short walk through the world’s most Northern Rainforest where guides will share Alaska history, teach you about flora and fauna unique to Southeast Alaska.
You will experience a favorite local beach, have a snack and hop back on your e-Bike to finish the tour by riding to the end of the road and head back to Fish Creek Park, where you will board your transportation and return to the dock.
This tour is perfect for those who want to level the playing field so grandparents and grandchildren, avid bikers and their health-limited partners can all bike together at a pace that works for everyone.
