Drive from the pier in Baie Ste Anne through quaint fishing villages and dense forest to Anse Lazio, at the northern tip of Praslin.
Locals claim that Anse Lazio is one of the world's prettiest beaches -- the perfect spot for swimming or just dreaming away the afternoon. You'll spend about three hours at this beautiful, unspoiled beach, swimming in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, or relaxing in the shade of the takamaka trees that adorn the beachfront.
Please note:
There are no lounge chairs or umbrellas on the beach. There is plenty of shade provided by trees. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen and a hat. Restrooms are available at the beach restaurant. There are no public showers or changing rooms. Bring bottled water. It is common to experience short tropical showers in this region.
