Lying alongside the harbour, just a short walk from your ship, the Husavik Whale Museum is one of the town’s biggest visitor attractions. Featuring more than eight exhibition areas, the museum is packed with information about these incredible creatures, their interactions with humans, and the ecology of the marine environment they inhabit. As well as housing 11 full sized whale skeletons, including those of a narwhal and a blue whale, the museum contains a cinema room screening an illuminating documentary film.
This ticket will provide entrance to the Husavik Whale Museum, allowing guests to explore its unique exhibits at their own pace and in their own time. Guests will be provided with a map of town and will make their own way to the museum.
Please note: Wherever Included Experience tours are offered, guests are allowed to participate in only one included experience per call unless otherwise specified in the tour description. This tour is designed to allow guests to make an independent visit to the Husavik Whale Museum and is not part of a guided tour. Guests will be required to make their own way to and from the museum, using the map provided. Guests are advised that the museum is open to the public and that this ticket is not for a private visit for Seabourn guests. The museum exhibits are spread over two floors, and there is no elevator access to the upper level. Guests who use a wheelchair, or those with mobility limitations may not be able to access the upper level.
