Board your coach and start with the tour with a scenic drive to winery Testament. Testament Winery’s vineyards were only planted in 2007, yet even as a young winery, the wines produced here are favorites at the Decanter World Wine Awards, leading to Testament becoming one of the most awarded Croatian wineries. Vineyards cover 50 ha, and olive groves on 25 ha of beautiful hills above the Morinje Bay. They grow exclusively indigenous varieties, and their production is 100% organic. Testament always put emphasis on the Babic variety, as unique in the world because it thrives only in the Sibenik area.
By launching a wine tasting facility, from August 2018, in the heart of the vineyard, Testament can offer a guided tasting of their wines with authentic and unique snacks. Continue back to winery Bakara Winery. Baraka Winery is a charming, family-owned boutique winery nestled on the picturesque Srima peninsula, near the idyllic towns of Šibenik and Vodice. This beautiful region is renowned for its over 1000km of hand-built stone drywalls, a testament to the hard work and rich history of the area. The peninsula is surrounded by the estuary of the Krka River, the sparkling waters of the Adriatic Sea, and the stunning St. Anthony Channel. The tasting room and outdoor terrace offer the perfect setting to experience our wines, extra virgin olive oils, and local cheese, all while taking in the stunning views of vineyards.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by your host and welcomed with our first wine in front of the winery and vineyard, after we will have a short tour of the winemaking production building and cellar with oak barrels where you will learn about our winemaking and our wines. After the winery tour you are welcome to enjoy rest of the tasting with two more wines and our premium extra virgin olive oil, cheese from local artisanal farm and some grissini or bread. Rest of the tasting will be al fresco in front of the winery.
