Discover the fascinating city of Santa Cruz on this afternoon or evening guided walking tour. Learn about the city's interesting history and admire iconic buildings, churches and architecture on your way to a tapas tasting at a popular restaurant in the Old Town.
Set off on the foot from the pier heading towards Plaza España. Discover the city's modern beauty as well as the breathtaking architecture of the past as you view monuments and historical buildings around the square.
Continue past the Church of San Francisco, Plaza del Principe, with its romantic garden, and the Parliament Building. Watch for the Guímera Theatre and Iglesia de la Concepción.
When in Santa Cruz, do as the chicharreros do -- enjoy tapas and wine while people-watching.
Guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so but must make their own way back to the ship.
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, cobblestones, and steps. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Tapas will be served sitting or standing, depending on seating availability at each site.
